How to Brew the Perfect Cup

Follow these simple steps to unlock the full flavor of our premium selections.
What You'll Need:
· French Press
· Your chosen ChocolaTea™, craft coffee or loose leaf tea flavor
· Purified Water (recommended) or Filtered Water
· Cordless Electric Kettle (recommended) or Stove Top Kettle
· Scale or Measuring Spoons
· Timer
· Your favorite cup
Brewing ChocolaTea™
Hot Brew
- Brew in a French press to achieve optimal flavor, but a GlobalTeas™ Brew Kit or a fine mesh tea brewer are also great options.
- Add 8 oz of boiling to your French press or mug.
- Add 2.5 level tbsp (20 g) or 4 level scoops with the GlobalTeas™ Perfect Scoop of ChocolaTea™ to your hot water.
- Stir gently to ensure all of your ChocolaTea™ is in contact with the water.
- Steep 6 minutes and then gently plunge your French press or remove your fine mesh tea basket.
- Pour into a mug, sip and enjoy and enjoy your ChocolaTea™ straight up or mixed with your favorite creamer and sweetener.
Cold Brew
- Use a
GlobalTeas™ Brew Kit or a cold brew coffee maker pitcher with a very fine mesh filter basket. - Add room temperature water to your
GlobalTeas™ Brew Kit glass or cold brew coffee maker pitcher. - Add 2.5 level tbsp (20 g) or 4 level scoops with the
GlobalTeas™ Perfect Scoop per 8 oz water. - Stir gently to ensure all
ChocolaTea™ is in contact with the water and then cover with the lid. If using a pitcher, fill pitcher, seal tightly and shake gently. - Place in refrigerator.
- Steep 14 to 24 hours.
- Remove the filter basket.
- Stir or shake gently.
- Pour into a mug, sip and enjoy
your ChocolaTea™ straight up or mixed with your favorite creamer and sweatener.
Brewing Tea
- Choose Your Tea: Select your favorite tea type.
- Measure the Tea: Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup (8 oz) or one tea bag.
- Heat the Water:
- Black Tea: 200°F (93°C)
- Green Tea: 175°F (80°C)
- Herbal Tea: 212°F (100°C)
- Steep Time:
- Black Tea: 3-5 minutes
- Green Tea: 2-3 minutes
- Herbal Tea: 5-7 minutes
- Enjoy: Remove the tea leaves or bag and savor your perfectly brewed cup!
Brewing Coffee
- Select Your Coffee: Choose from our range of gourmet coffees.
- Measure Your Coffee: Use 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee per 6 oz of water.
- Heat the Water: Heat water to about 200°F (93°C).

Brewing Method:
- Recommendation: A French press to achieve optimal flavor.
- Coffee Maker: Add ground coffee to the mesh filter and brew.
- French Press: Add coffee grounds, pour hot water, stir, steep for 4 minutes, then press and pour.
- Pour Over: Place a stainless steel filter in the dripper, add coffee grounds, and slowly pour hot water over them in a circular motion.

Prepare your AeroPress
- Pull the plunger and separate entirely from the immersion chamber
- Place one stander-size paper filter into the filter cap and twist the filter cap onto the immersion chamber, making sure it is well-centered for stability.
- Place the immersion chamber on top of your cup.
- Measure: Add 16-18 grams (about 4 level tablespoons) of your favorite craft coffee for every 8 oz. cup to the mesh filter basket.
- Add Water: Slowly pour 8 oz. boiling water to the number 4 line.

Steep:
- Stir for 5 seconds to thoroughly wet the grounds. Some coffee may drip through into your cup during this process and is okay.
- Take the plunger and gently insert it about a half an inch into the top of the chamber, making sure the plunger is entirely past the lip of the chamber. This will create a vacuum that will stop your brew from dripping through into your cup and allow it to steep.
- Wait 30 seconds and then begin AeroPressing your brew by gently and steadily applying pressure to the top of the plunger.

Tips for the Best Brew
- Use fresh, filtered or purified water for optimal flavor.
- Experiment with steeping times and measurements to find your perfect balance.
- Store your ChocolaTea™, coffee and tea in an airtight canister (SKU 9164 for black and SKU 9165 for matte white) and in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness. We recommend an airtight canister.
