About Rooibos Tea Leaves:  Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa.  Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties.  Rooibos contains minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and trace minerals, polyphenols and is high in Vitamin C.  It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness).  Our Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Organic, Halal and Kosher.

Flavor Profile:  Rooibos has a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness.  Turmeric has a little bitter, a little peppery like mustard or horseradish, with a slight ginger flavor.  Vanilla bean has asweet, perfumed aroma with a woody or smoky flavor.  The flavor profile of Rooibos, Madagascar vanilla and turmeric are well balanced, to minimize the bitterness of turmeric, while taking advantage of its health benefits.  No artificial flavors or preservatives.

Brewing Instructions: 

• Loose Leaf Tea: 2.5 g (or 1 level scoop with GlobalTeas scooper) to French press for every 8 oz. of boiling water.  Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy! 
• Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below.  Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy!  We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
