Rooibos, or Red Rooibos, loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. This tea is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins, making it smooth and non-bitter. Red Rooibos leaves are crushed, naturally oxidized (fermented), then dried, resulting in a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness.
