Green Rooibos Lemon Herb
Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness). Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation/fermentation. It has a mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to traditional green tea. Our Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Organic, Halal and Kosher.
Flavor Profile: A mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to green tea, using organic lemon verbena and organic lemon myrtle. Lemon verbena has a bright, slightly sweet, herbaceous flavor with a distinct hint of lemon. Lemon myrtle has a distinctly lemony and tangy, with distinct lime zest notes. The combination of these herbs provides for a perfect lemon flavor as sweet, tangy, sour taste all rolled up in one. No artificial flavors or preservatives.
Brewing Instructions:
- Loose Leaf Tea: 5 g (or 1 level scoop with GlobalTeas scooper) to French press for every 8 oz. of boiling water. Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy!
- Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below. Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy! We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
