Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness). Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation/fermentation. It has a mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to traditional green tea. Our Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Organic, Halal and Kosher.
Flavor Profile: A mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to green tea using Organic Aronia berry and hibiscus. Aronia berries have a tartness dryness flavor with earthy undertones. Hibiscus has a cranberry-like, sweet and slightly earthy flavor. No artificial flavors or preservatives.
Brewing Instructions:
- Hot Brew Tea Bag: Add 1 tea bag to mug for every 8 oz. of boiling water. Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy!
- Cold Brew Tea Bag: Add 1 tea bag to mug for every 8 oz. of cold water. Let steep 30+ minutes and enjoy!
- Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below. Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy! We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
