Rooibos Cold Brew Mango Pineapple
Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness). Red Rooibos leaves are crushed, allowed to undergo natural oxidation, then dried. They have a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness.
Flavor Profile: A light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness, using all natural mango and pineapple. Mango has a tartness similar to limes with a tropical floral taste, citrusy and sometimes slight tartness. Pineapple has a fruity note, winy note, vanilla-like note, sweeter than citrus fruit flavor with a freshness undertone that distinguishes it from other fruits such as apricots and peaches. This combination of these two fruits have a tropical sweetness, slight tartness and fresh notes, giving a perfect cool refreshing yellow fruit flavor to rejuvenate yourself during a hot summer day on the beach. No artificial flavors or preservatives.
Brewing Instructions:
- Loose Leaf Tea: 5 g (or 1 level scoop with GlobalTeas scooper) to French press for every 8 oz. of boiling water. Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy!
- Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below. Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy! We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
