This coffee is decaffeinated.  The decaffeination process uses the purified Mountain Water Process, free of any chemical intervention.  No artificial flavors or preservatives.  

Use and Storage:  To maximize freshness and taste, we recommend that you grind your beans when you make your coffee and finish each bag within 2 weeks.  If you do not intend to finish your bag of coffee beans within 2 weeks, can extend your coffee’s freshness through refrigeration.  

Flavor Profile:  This is a true dark roast coffee with character.  There is a hint of pleasant bright acidity that is almost undetectable, but you know something is there, contributing to a bold complex flavor.  This complexity is achieved through careful and longer roasting techniques by an experienced roaster.  A perfect well-balanced medium-bodied dark roast decaffeinated coffee with an aroma satisfying the palate of all coffee drinkers looking for an enjoyable dark roast coffee experience.  There is a soothing and rich coffee taste with flavor undertones of chocolate, sweetness, and fruitiness.  The lack of bitterness with a very light touch of pleasant acidity to balance out flavor provides the character that will make you want to brew another cup.  It is so good that not only will you not believe it is decaf, but no one also else will either!  Another perfect anytime coffee when you have an urge for a great dark roast cup of coffee but want to avoid the caffeine.   

French Press Brewing Instructions:  15 g to 30 g depending on your taste if using milk or creamer for every 8 oz. of boiling water.  Let steep 4 minutes and enjoy.  For maximum freshness, always grind your coffee beans right before you brew.
