Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness). Red Rooibos leaves are crushed, allowed to undergo natural oxidation, then dried. They have a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness.
Flavor Profile: A light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness, using Organic blueberries. Blueberries have a fruity, sweet-tart, bright and fresh notes flavor. No artificial flavors or preservatives.
Brewing Instructions:
- Loose Leaf Tea: 5 g (or 1 level scoop with GlobalTeas scooper) to French press for every 8 oz. of boiling water. Let steep 5 minutes and enjoy!
- Pitcher Brewing: Pitcher brewing calibrations are detailed below. Once steeping is complete, then remove tea bags or loose leaf tea leaves, pour over ice and enjoy! We recommend making a pitcher and steep in a refrigerator, then pour over ice and enjoy!
