Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins (so they it has no bitterness). Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation/fermentation. It has a mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to traditional green tea. Our Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are Organic, Halal and Kosher.
Flavor Profile: A mild smooth and grassy flavor similar to green tea using organic vanilla bean, organic peppermint, organic spearmint and organic lemon verbena. Vanilla bean has a sweet, perfumed aroma with a woody or smoky flavor using all natural organic vanilla bean. Spearmint has a sweet, smoothy and minty flavor with a mild menthol undertone that is milder than peppermint. Peppermint is similar to spearmint with a much higher menthol content, giving it a much stronger flavor. Lemon verbena has a bright, slightly sweet, herbaceous flavor with a distinct hint of lemon. No artificial flavors or preservatives.
