Rooibos, or Red Rooibos, loose leaf tea leaves come from the Aspalathus Linearis (red bush) plant grown in South Africa. This tea is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins, making it smooth and non-bitter. Red Rooibos leaves are crushed, naturally oxidized (fermented), then dried, resulting in a light, nutty, woody taste with a hint of sweetness. Our Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are organic and Fair Trade, and our blends are made with organic and natural ingredients.
Green Rooibos loose leaf tea leaves are unfermented and are steamed and dried to prevent oxidation. They have a mild, smooth, grassy flavor similar to traditional green tea. Our Green Rooibos is also organic and Fair Trade, crafted with the same commitment to clean, pure ingredients.
Flavor Profile: Refer to SKU for each flavor for specific flavor profile.
