This is a replacement brew basket for the custom 11 oz.ChocolaTea™ Double Wall Glass Brew Kit - Large (SKU #919). The brew basket has a permanent stainless-steel mesh filter and hat. This brew kit is a simple and elegant solution for individual ChocolaTea brewing. Each brew basket comes with a hat to prevent heat loss and to serve as drip-off tray after brewing. Clean before use. All components are dishwasher safe.

Brew basket hat prevents heat-loss and doubles as a drip-off tray for the permanent filter after brewing

Recommend brewing instructions:

Use the 11 oz. double wall glass and ensure that brew basket is 75% submerged under water when placed in double wall glass.

8 oz. Serving: Measure 20 g ChocolaTea or coarse ground coffee for an 8 oz. serving, fill brew basket and place in empty double wall glass.
10 oz. Serving:L Measure 25 g ChocolaTea or coarse ground coffee for an 8 oz. serving, fill brew basket and place in empty double wall glass.

Boil water and slowly pour 8 oz or 10 oz in brew basket and immediately place brew basket “hat” on top to retain heat during steep.

Steep 5 – 6 minutes for ChocolaTea and 4 – 5 minutes for coarse ground coffee.

Remove brew basket.

Sip and enjoy!
